Job Duties
- Adheres to liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- sets up assigned bars and stocks all necessary items including beer, wine, spirits, glassware, and condiments
- maintains stock and prepares fresh garnishes, juices, and perishables
- greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- takes and processes orders for drinks using standard recipes and practices portion control
- checks guests for proper identification
- detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained
- receives cash and makes change ensuring accurate transaction records
- locks up and stores all beverage products, equipment, and cash drops securely
- performs cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards and keeps work area organized
- arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display
- washes and sterilizes stemware
