Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months related experience and/or training in mixing a variety of alcoholic beverages
- Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certificate
- Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must comply with sanitation and health regulations for alcohol handling
- Must be able to work in environments with moderate to loud noise, varying crowds, and smoke
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months related experience and/or training in mixing alcoholic beverages
- Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe alcohol handling
- Strong and accurate money handling skills
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of bar equipment, cash register, and company beverage system
- Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certificate
- Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license
Job Duties
- Take beverage orders from guests and check identification to verify age requirements
- Promote brands and products to increase sales
- Prepare cocktails and beverages according to recipes and specifications
- Perform set up and breakdown of bar area and side work as needed
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of bar area following company and health standards
- Assist with inventory control, stocking, and product rotation
- Perform responsible alcohol service respecting guest limitations
- Complete monetary transactions using point-of-sale system
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, prices, and related regulations for drink preparation and storage
- Perform other related duties as assigned
