Job Requirements
- Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Work in environments with both hot and cold temperatures
- Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- Read and write handwritten notes
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Walk or stand 100% of shift
- Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Qualifications
- Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Skilled in customer service and teamwork
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to operate Micros or similar POS systems
- Capable of working in fast-paced, noisy environments
- Adherence to dress code and professional appearance
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters promptly
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
- Maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure accurate financial transactions
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and manage intoxicated guests
- Assess guest demeanor and notify manager when necessary
- Follow all bar recipes to ensure consistency and control costs
- Keep station clean and set up/take down tables appropriately
- Greet guests promptly and take accurate food and drink orders
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items to answer guest questions
- Enter orders into Micros system quickly and accurately
- Complete all sales on personal Micros keys and perform station side work
- Demonstrate ability to operate Micros and conduct credit card transactions accurately
- Ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated areas
- Work efficiently following “Full hands in, full hands out” philosophy
- Participate in incentives and contests to drive sales
- Complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets as required
- Perform opening and closing duties timely
- Assist in party setup and breakdown
- Assist other team members as needed
- Buss and reset tables as necessary
- Ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back and maintaining drink levels
- Maintain favorable relationships with team members to promote a cooperative climate
- Listen to hear guests’ orders and communicate effectively
- Be friendly and frequent smiling
