Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- certified in responsible alcohol service by applicable agency
- 1-2 years experience in bartending preferred
- previous experience with Japanese cuisine preferred
- basic understanding of wine, spirits, and sake preferred
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- able to use POS system for accurate food and drink orders

Job Duties
- Promptly greets guests and takes beverage orders from servers or guests
- promptly prepares beverage orders according to server tickets
- mixes alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, and other beverages as requested and in compliance with company standards and recipes
- checks identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase and notifies management of underage or intoxicated guests
- rings up all drink and food orders in the POS system, collects payment, balances receipts, and follows cash handling procedures
- ensures bar area is fully equipped with necessary tools and products, reports defective products or equipment
- offers and serves food items to guests seated at the bar when appropriate
- demonstrates thorough knowledge of food, beverage products, menus, and promotions
- performs routine cleaning, setup, and breakdown of the bar
- washes and sterilizes glassware and arranges bottles, glassware, and beverage products attractively
- completes daily and weekly cleaning and side work requirements
- participates in scheduled catering events
- performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor
