Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • must be able to work days, nights and or weekends as required
  • must be able to work in environments with both hot and cold temperatures such as freezers and around cooking equipment
  • must be able to work in noisy, fast paced environments with distracting conditions
  • must be able to read and write handwritten notes
  • must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • must be able to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
  • must be able to walk or stand 100% of shift
  • must be able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently

Job Qualifications

  • restaurant or bar experience preferred but not required
  • must be skilled in effectively communicating with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
  • must be able to read and communicate in English
  • must be friendly and able to smile frequently
  • must adhere to proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • basic knowledge of Micros POS systems preferred
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

Job Duties

  • deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
  • keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
  • create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
  • adhere to company sanitation procedures
  • maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate
  • follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
  • assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
  • follow all bar recipes to deliver a consistent product, control costs, and maximize guest satisfaction
  • keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
  • greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
  • accurately take guests' food and drink orders
  • maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
  • enter orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence
  • be responsible for all sales on personal Micros keys and complete station side work at the beginning and end of shift
  • demonstrate ability to operate Micros, make changes, conduct credit card transactions and account for all monies at shift end
  • ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated bar areas and other restaurant sections as needed
  • work quickly and efficiently adhering to 'full hands in, full hands out' philosophy
  • participate in incentives and contests driving sales and promoting the brand
  • complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets
  • complete opening and closing duties in a timely manner
  • assist in party set up and breakdown
  • assist other team members as needed
  • buss and reset tables as needed
  • ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after food delivery, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, prebussing and responding to guest needs promptly
  • maintain favorable working relationships with team members to promote cooperation and high morale
  • listen to hear guests' orders and communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • be friendly and smile frequently
  • work in a noisy, fast paced environment
