Job Requirements

Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol
previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and techniques
excellent customer service and communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills

Job Duties

Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
maintain knowledge of a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits
greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences
build relationships with regular patrons to create a welcoming atmosphere
handle payments, operate cash registers, and manage tabs accurately
ensure proper recording of sales and compliance with tipping policies
monitor and restock bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, and supplies
conduct inventory checks and communicate stock needs to management
keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glasses and equipment
follow all food and beverage safety regulations
work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
participate in staff meetings and training sessions
