Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
legal age to serve alcohol
ability to stand for extended periods
strong customer service orientation
ability to work evening and weekend shifts
willingness to comply with all health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

prior experience as bartender, bartending or mixology preferred but not required
ability to work in fast-paced environment
excellent interpersonal and communication skills
basic math skills for handling transactions
knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques advantageous
ability to multitask and work flexible hours

Job Duties

mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to Applebee's specifications
maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
interact with guests providing friendly and attentive service
recommend drinks and answer guest inquiries about beverages
ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations
manage bar inventory and notify management of supply needs
support other team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
