Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must pass alcohol and drug screening
- Must pass basic background check
- Must pass math proficiency questionnaire (located in employee application)
- Must have some previous bartending experience
- Willing to work on a moving vessel in water and outdoors (hot and cold environments)
Job Qualifications
- Must have some previous bartending experience
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Proper cash handling and credit card skills
- Ability to learn a cash register
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to learn and follow rules and procedures related to order taking
- Ability to thoroughly learn available beverages, cocktails, brands, and prices
- Able to carry/lift up to 50lbs
- Able to work in a standing position for 3 continuously and up to 9 hours per day
- Ability to continuously carry trays/plates up and down stairs
- Able to bend and stoop
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages ensuring proper ingredients and garnishes, always checking identification to verify legal drinking age
- Ensure bar remains fully stocked throughout shift
- Maintain a clean work space including glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for events
- Maintain knowledge of pricing, menu items, and general cruise information
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations during cruises and private events
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to alcohol service
