Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in bartending or beverage service preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems
- Willingness to obtain ServSafe and TIPS certifications if not already certified
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lift 50lbs or more on a regular basis
- Able to withstand long periods of time on feet
- Ability to operate blenders and other equipment safely
- Ability to function well in a high pace, sometimes high stress environment
- Comfortable effectively communicating with all levels of guests and staff
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Greets all guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Prepares and serves beverages following established protocol and all state and federal liquor laws
- Keeps leads and Food and Beverage Manager aware of any issues in a timely manner and assists in resolution
- Efficient in cash handling procedures and maintain working knowledge of Toast system including credit card and gift card transactions
- Ensures all daily revenue and server tip reports are reconciled and submitted to accounting daily
- Completes proper opening and closing functions including checklists and requisitions each shift
- Checks all IDs to verify only guests aged 21 and over are served alcohol
- Assists Food and Beverage Manager in decorating the bar area for theme weekends
- Supports and follows Cove Communities and Point Sebago policy at all times
- Performs all other duties as assigned
