Job Requirements
- Employer paid TABC/Texas Food Handler Certification
- A minimum of one year experience as a bartender
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Outgoing and service oriented personality
- Creativity in bar service and drink creation
- Must be able to communicate with management, kitchen, dining room and golf personnel
- Must be able to reach, bend and frequently lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Be able to stand for long periods of time in varying temperatures

Job Duties
- Maintain positive and effective working relationships with other employees, management and all members of the public
- Adherence to the established policies and procedures of the MGASA
- Meet, greet and welcome prospective customers within one minute
- Initiate and implement safety regulations and procedures
- Show a passion for serving and provide excellent customer service to guests of the bar
- Arrive to work on time, well-groomed and in a clean uniform
- Follow opening list on preparing the bar for service and closing list for the breakdown of the bar
- Maintain clean, neat, orderly and sanitized preparation and storage areas
- Mention daily specials if applicable, answer questions and suggest menu items
- Take guest orders and offer recommendations to enhance guest experience
- Remain knowledgeable of liquor, beer, wine and food offerings
- Maintain knowledge of the latest drink trends
- Verify accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips and other charges on each receipt
- Adherence to cash and system controls to ensure the safekeeping of assets and inventory
- Understand basic money handling including cash, credit cards and starting a tab for patrons
- Clean and clear tables of dishes including prebussing tables to ensure cleanliness
- Wash glassware according to proper sanitation guidelines
- Can complete requirements of the job without constant supervision
- Flexible schedule due to fluctuating business levels and events
- Maintain compliance with TABC Seller/Server guidelines
- Advise supervisor of any feedback as soon as it occurs
- Other duties as assigned
