Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- work in hot and cold environments
- work in noisy, fast-paced environment
- read and write handwritten notes
- lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- move about facility and stand for long periods
- walk or stand 100% of shift
- reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- adhere to dress code and maintain neat, clean and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- restaurant or bar experience preferred
- skilled in guest communication to generate enthusiasm
- ability to read and communicate in English
- friendly and able to smile frequently
- able to work in fast-paced, noisy environment
- knowledge of sanitation procedures preferred
- ability to operate credit card machines and point of sale systems
- basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
- keep supervisor informed of problems and suggest corrective actions
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to sanitation procedures
- maintain personal bank and ensure accurate financial transactions
- follow alcohol awareness procedures
- assess guest demeanor and alert management if needed
- follow bar recipes to control costs and maximize satisfaction
- keep station clean and set up/take down appropriately
- greet guests in a friendly and timely manner
- take food and drink orders accurately
- understand menu items and answer guest questions
- enter orders into Micros system correctly and promptly
- manage personal sales and perform station side work
- operate Micros and handle credit transactions accurately
- ensure food is properly garnished and delivered on time
- work efficiently with full hands in/full hands out philosophy
- participate in incentives and contests
- complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets
- complete opening/closing duties
- assist in party setup and breakdown
- support other team members as needed
- buss and reset tables
- ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back and responding promptly
- maintain positive relationships with coworkers
- communicate effectively with guests and team
- maintain friendly and professional demeanor
- work in noisy, fast-paced environment
