Dave & Buster's is currently hiring for a Guest Service role that is vital in delivering outstanding hospitality and ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable visit. As a Guest Service team member, you will play an essential part in maintaining operational excellence by adhering to company procedures, including sanitation protocols and responsible alcohol service. You will manage personal cash and credit transactions carefully and contribute to the overall team effort by assisting with party setups, bussing tables, and helping teammates as needed. This job offers flexible scheduling to accommodate school or other commitments and provides a lively work environment where no two days are the same.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Work in environments with both hot and cold temperatures such as freezers and around cooking equipment
- Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- Read and write handwritten notes
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Walk or stand 100% of shift
- Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- Dressed in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
Job Qualifications
- Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred but not required
- Must be skilled in effectively communicating with guests in order to generate enthusiasm about the D&B experience
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
- Maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate by operating credit card machines correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change, and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
- Follow all bar recipes to deliver a consistent product, control costs, and maximize guest satisfaction
