The Bartender position at Life Time is a crucial role that blends customer service with the responsible handling and preparation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Bartenders at Life Time engage directly with members and guests, taking drink and food orders and maintaining an organized and sanitized bar area. Additionally, Bartenders are entrusted with inventory management tasks such as re-stocking liquors, wines, beers, non-alcoholic ingredients, and replacing beer barrels.
The role also involves closing duties including reconciling the cash register at shift end to ensure financial accuracy. Bartenders must be physically capable of performing tasks such as bending repetitively to lift items above 20 pounds, standing for prolonged periods, and moving throughout the cafe to fulfill customer needs. Certification to serve alcohol and compliance with CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hiring are mandatory for maintaining safety standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
- Certified to serve alcohol
- CPR AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks including adding garnish
- Serves members and customers in a timely fashion including checking identification accepting payment and answering any questions that may arise
- Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface furniture and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar kitchen
- Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors wines beer and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
- Reconciles the bars cash register at the end of the shift
