Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior guest service or hospitality experience preferred
  • The desire and ability to be pleasant upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
  • Be able to work a varied schedule to include days nights holidays and weekends

  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Greet guest and takes orders within Andretti guidelines always exceeding guests expectations
  • Prepare standard and specialty mixed drinks
  • Pour wine and beer quickly accurately and without waste
  • Deliver food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards
  • Collect payment for all items purchased and consumed and operate the point-of-sale system with ease
  • Count cash drawer at the beginning of the shift for accuracy and ensure adequate amount of change is present
  • Maintain an organized work area and proactively cleans and resets tables
  • Order and maintain liquor and bar supplies display bottles in an aesthetically pleasing manner
  • Properly dispose of broken glassware
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local health regulations
  • Sufficiently handle and accurately count money
  • Check identification of any guest consuming alcohol
  • Follow all state and company guidelines regarding beverage services
  • Observe instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence
  • Assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and fellow co-workers
  • Performs opening running and closing department duties as assigned
