- possession of alcohol dispensing certification
- minimum one year of bartending experience within restaurant business
Job Duties
- Inspire legendary experiences between friends for guests by creating an atmosphere of happiness and a sense of community
- use up-selling techniques with every guest to enhance experience
- build positive, professional relationships with guests
- bring unruly guest behavior to the attention of the manager
- promote excellence, cooperation and teamwork within the company
- support and assist team members
- set-up, maintain and operate the bar
- adhere to standardized recipes and department rules and procedures
- prepare garnishes to ensure freshness and quality
- take drink and food orders and accurately input into register system
- ensure the correct drinks and food ordered are delivered to the table or guest
- collect payment and make correct change
- follow opening, closing and cleaning checklists on a daily basis
- maintain displays of liquor and glasses
- check guest identification to confirm minimum age of 40 years for alcohol consumption
- follow guidelines of responsible alcohol service
- ensure PCI credit card compliance
- unload trucks, pallets, and cases of food and beverage and put in assigned locations
- perform other duties as assigned
