Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a related food and beverage service role
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service laws and food safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and responsible alcohol service
- Knowledge of the food industry, including restaurant experience, catering, or banquet work
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing accuracy
- Previous experience in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality venues is preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking and quick decision-making
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, taking orders efficiently and professionally
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for billing and change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible beverage service policies
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Handle food service duties when required, including serving snacks or light meals during events or in a restaurant setting
