Job Duties

  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following recipes and customer requests
  • Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age
  • Maintain knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and pairings
  • Suggest drinks based on customer preferences
  • Greet customers and take orders efficiently
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Handle complaints or concerns professionally
  • Monitor customer alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary
  • Process payments via cash, credit card, or POS system
  • Manage tabs and ensure accurate billing
  • Restock bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
  • Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages
  • Clean and sanitize bar equipment, utensils, and glassware
  • Ensure the bar area is organized and tidy
  • Dispose of trash and follow health and safety regulations
