Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- available to work all shifts and days including holidays and mandatory work days
- ability to work in low-light and smoking environments
- ability to stand on feet for full shift
- willingness to follow strict alcohol service protocols
- previous bartending or serving experience
- high school diploma or GED
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of 1 year previous bartending or serving experience in a full-scale restaurant
- strong customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively in noisy environments
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to monitor alcohol consumption levels responsibly
- basic literacy skills for reading and completing reports
Job Duties
- Provide an atmosphere where guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience
- observe and understand if guest has reached intoxication level and handle the situation
- card guests who look younger than 30 years old without exceptions
- communicate effectively in a noisy environment
- stand on both feet for full shift
- prepare and serve cocktails
- keep bar clean and organized at all times
- be cordial and helpful while taking drink orders but avoid fraternization with guests
- follow all company alcohol metering or dispensing rules and procedures
- responsible for accuracy of monies collected
- balance monies and run designated reports at end of shift
- read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- complete forms and reports
- perform all other duties as assigned
