Job Requirements

  • Available to work flexible AM and PM shifts including holidays
  • Ability to transport up to 30 pounds continuously through crowded spaces
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching required
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Must maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • Valid Food Handler Card
  • Basic English language proficiency
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
  • Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations
  • Basic mathematical skills to operate cash register, make change and total bank
  • Basic English writing skills for requisitions and vouchers
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to prepare garnishes and handle glassware
  • Ability to understand customer inquiries and communicate simple instructions
  • Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee maker
  • Current Food Handler Card

Job Duties

  • Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner and promotes and documents orders for drinks
  • Mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
  • Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis, including requisitioning and stocking supplies
  • Responsible for maintaining stock and preparing fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables daily
  • Handles cash transactions, verifies charges, and balances all moneys
  • Locks up and stores all beverages, food, and equipment securely and deposits cash drops
  • Answers bar phone promptly and takes room service orders accurately
  • Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, safety and security regulations
  • Maintains a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance as per team member standards
  • Assists other Beverage Personnel as needed and performs related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
