Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience as a restaurant server
- knowledge of food service practices in high volume settings
- ability to legally serve alcoholic beverages and check identification
- compliance with food and beverage safety regulations
- ability to handle bloodborne and respiratory pathogens
- willingness to comply with influenza vaccination policies or alternatives
- drug testing and criminal background screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience as a restaurant server including food and bar service
- full understanding of food service methods in a high volume, full service dining environment
- capable of discussing menu and beverage options with guests
- ability to comply with food and beverage regulations
- strong customer service and communication skills
- able to maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
- skillful in handling guest concerns professionally
Job Duties
- Slice and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks
- know lounge menus and discuss options with guests
- keep a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
- understand wine and beer menus and assist guests in preferences and recommendations
- take beverage orders from guests or servers and serve as requested with attention to detail
- serve guests requests promptly
- deliver checks and collect payments per restaurant standards
- prepare and serve lounge food items
- interact with guests, take orders and serve lounge menu and drinks
- verify legal age requirements for customers
- clean bar, tables, chairs, and work area
- organize bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
- attend pre-service huddles
- maintain uniform cleanliness and pressed
- address guest issues promptly and refer to management as necessary
- inform Food & Beverage Manager of needed supplies and equipment repairs
- check refrigeration temperature
- comply with all food and beverage regulations
- restock and replenish lounge inventory and supplies
