Job Duties
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following recipes and customer requests
- Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age
- Maintain knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and pairings
- Suggest drinks based on customer preferences
- Greet customers and take orders efficiently
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Handle complaints or concerns professionally
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary
- Process payments via cash, credit card, or POS system
- Manage tabs and ensure accurate billing
- Restock bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
- Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages
- Clean and sanitize bar equipment, utensils, and glassware
- Ensure the bar area is organized and tidy
- Dispose of trash and follow health and safety regulations
