Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast paced environment
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to move about facility and stand for long periods
- Ability to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- Maintain proper dress code
- Ability to operate Micros system and handle financial transactions accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant or bar experience preferred but not required
- Ability to operate Micros point-of-sale system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to maintain professional appearance
- Ability to read and write in English
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company sanitation procedures
- Maintain personal bank and ensure accurate financial transactions
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures
- Assess guest behavior and report to manager when necessary
- Follow bar recipes to control costs and ensure product consistency
- Keep station clean and set up/take down tables
- Greet newly seated guests promptly and friendly
- Accurately take food and drink orders
- Maintain thorough menu knowledge and answer questions
- Enter orders into Micros system quickly and correctly
- Complete station side work at start and end of shifts
- Operate Micros system and manage credit card transactions
- Deliver food trays to designated areas
- Work efficiently using "Full hands in, Full hands out" philosophy
- Participate in sales incentives and contests
- Complete bar inventories and daily requisitions
- Complete opening/closing duties timely
- Assist in party setup and breakdown
- Assist team members as needed
- Buss and reset tables
- Maintain guest satisfaction by checking back and clearing clutter
- Foster positive working relationships with team
- Listen and communicate clearly with guests and team members
- Smile frequently and maintain friendly demeanor
- Communicate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- Maintain professional and clean appearance
- Work in noisy, fast paced environment
- Must be at least 21 years old
