Job Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
must obtain or possess a valid food handler's card prior to employment
in Oregon must obtain OLCC Liquor permit within 30 days of hire
able to stand for entire shift
able to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds frequently
able to communicate clearly and listen attentively
able to bend, kneel, and maintain good balance
capable of wiping down and cleaning bar areas
able to operate bar equipment including blenders and frozen drink machines

Job Qualifications

Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills
able to operate blenders, frozen drink machines and other bar equipment
ability to wipe down tables, table legs, pick up debris and clean booth seats
must obtain or possess a valid food handler's card
must obtain OLCC Liquor permit within 30 days of hire if in Oregon
must be 21 years of age

Job Duties

Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
serves food and drinks to all bar guests
completes assigned opening and closing side work
slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
presents guest checks to bar patrons and handles cash and card transactions
processes employee and manager food orders via point-of-sale computerized register system
relays food orders to kitchen
completes extra cleaning tasks as assigned
