Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- valid Massachusetts TIPS certification
- prior bartending experience preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age 18 with valid Massachusetts TIPS certification
- prior bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or banquet setting preferred
- strong knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and cocktail preparation
- ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- professional appearance and adherence to the club’s uniform and appearance standards
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with recipes, club standards, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- set up and break down bar stations for restaurant service, weddings, and special events
- monitor guest consumption and refuse service when appropriate to ensure compliance with Massachusetts laws
- maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, glassware, and equipment
- greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- take orders accurately and provide recommendations when requested
- handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary
- ensure timely and efficient service during peak restaurant hours and high-volume banquet events
- track product usage and communicate restocking needs to management
- assist with liquor, beer, and wine inventory counts as directed
- process payments accurately and reconcile tabs in accordance with club procedures
- work closely with banquet lead, servers, and catering staff to deliver seamless service at weddings, functions, and private events
- adapt to various event setups, including portable bars, specialty cocktail service, and themed events
- assist in event breakdown, ensuring equipment is returned and accounted for
