Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • valid Massachusetts TIPS certification
  • prior bartending experience preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18 with valid Massachusetts TIPS certification
  • prior bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or banquet setting preferred
  • strong knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and cocktail preparation
  • ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • professional appearance and adherence to the club’s uniform and appearance standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with recipes, club standards, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • set up and break down bar stations for restaurant service, weddings, and special events
  • monitor guest consumption and refuse service when appropriate to ensure compliance with Massachusetts laws
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, glassware, and equipment
  • greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • take orders accurately and provide recommendations when requested
  • handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary
  • ensure timely and efficient service during peak restaurant hours and high-volume banquet events
  • track product usage and communicate restocking needs to management
  • assist with liquor, beer, and wine inventory counts as directed
  • process payments accurately and reconcile tabs in accordance with club procedures
  • work closely with banquet lead, servers, and catering staff to deliver seamless service at weddings, functions, and private events
  • adapt to various event setups, including portable bars, specialty cocktail service, and themed events
  • assist in event breakdown, ensuring equipment is returned and accounted for
