Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must be open and willing to learn new things
- must be flexible, adaptable, and a team player
- must follow all health department, TABC, city and county alcohol requirements and maintain a clean working environment
- understands and supports the Typhoon Texas culture
- uses excellent judgement and follows the Typhoon Texas Austin alcohol and tip policy
- identifies problems and works quickly to find solutions
- works effectively with others, on all levels, in a positive and professional manner
- has excellent communication skills
- must be willing to complete all tasks given by Typhoon Texas leadership
- must have or be willing to obtain the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Alcohol Seller/Server Certification
- must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's Permit

- if you do not have a Typhoon Texas approved and current Food Handler's Permit and/or TABC Certification, you will be required to obtain one at your expense
- may be required to stand for extended periods of time
- may be required to lift 20-50 lbs.
- may be required to be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, or rain
- must be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- must be able to work well with others
- must be able to communicate effectively

Job Duties
- work collaboratively with servers, leadership, and other team members
- knowledgeable on all specialty cocktails and beer
- knowledgeable on all liquor we carry
- greet all guests with enthusiasm and a smile
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools, glassware, and supplies
- restock bar inventory and communicate supply needs to leadership
- monitor guest consumption and respond appropriately to ensure a safe environment
- accurately charge and pay out guest
- id all guest that look under the age of 35
- assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
