Job Requirements
- Ability to take written and verbal directions in English
- ability to mix a wide variety of drinks
- ability to operate machines and equipment including cash register, dishwashers, speed batch ovens and microwave
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations
- ability to open and close bar and maintain bar supplies
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to obtain and maintain appropriate certifications
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- customer service experience preferred
- ability to mix drinks
- proficiency in operating bar equipment
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work independently or in a team
- knowledge of basic cash handling
- ability to obtain required certifications
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel bar following company policies and procedures
- maintain food prep and bar area in a clean, organized manner
- serve and assist guests with high standards of service and hospitality
- mix a wide variety of drinks and operate bar machines and equipment
- communicate effectively with customers and team members
- manage cash transactions and handle currency
- obtain and maintain appropriate certifications
- work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
