Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school education required
- Minimum 1-year experience in restaurant or customer service industry preferred
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
- Weekend availability is a must
- Sunday dinner and Monday lunch shifts are mandatory
Job Qualifications
- High school education required
- Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
- Minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant or customer service industry preferred
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to providing excellent Guest service
Job Duties
- Present drink menu, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- Take orders
- promptly serve food and drink
- check in with Guests regarding their experience
- up-sell whenever possible
- Record drink or food orders accurately and immediately after receipt into POS
- Accept and process Guest payment and make the correct change as applicable
- Fill in as a server as directed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Restaurant
- Maintain inventory and bar supplies
- assist in restocking and replenishing
- Ensure the cleanliness of the bar area including counters, tables, equipment, floors
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
- Wash and sterilize glassware as needed
