Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older (state of Hawai'i requirement)
  • Ability to obtain a valid State of Hawai'i Liquor Commission card
  • 2-3 years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale environment
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, liquor, beer, wine, and proper garnishing
  • Experience using a POS system
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs comfortably and occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Ability to work safely in an active indoor-outdoor setting

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and presentation standards
  • Pour beer and wine, serve wine and champagne, and maintain knowledge of all menu offerings
  • Take guest orders, promote food and beverage options, and ensure timely, attentive service
  • Accurately enter, manage, and close guest checks using the point-of-sale system
  • Collaborate closely with servers, barbacks, and kitchen teams to maintain smooth service flow
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work while maintaining a clean, organized bar area
  • Engage guests with confidence and professionalism, anticipating service needs
