Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- At least one year of experience working as a barista, bartender, and/or food preparation
- Ability and desire to obey all local, state, and federal laws
- Willingness to learn new skills and be a team player
- Ability to memorize and become knowledgeable of menu items
- Ability to handle cash register tasks
- Capacity to perform physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills

- Perform correct POS transactions, closing duties and accounting procedures as required

Job Duties
- Support a strong commitment to world class guest service and ensure a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience for restaurant patrons
- Function as the location's expert on bar systems, recipes, procedures, and knowledge of liquor, wine, and beer served
- Complete all training requirements
- Greet bar guests promptly
- Use suggestive selling techniques
- Record beverage order, enter order into computer system, prepare drink in accordance to established guidelines and deliver drink to guest
- Monitor guests' drinks to anticipate re-order requests
- Collect monies owed and perform guest check accountability procedures
- maintain a balanced bar drawer
- perform tip declaration activities
- Prepare and complete orders for servers
- Wash bar service ware
- set up, clean, stock and maintain bar area and bar cooler
- Perform server responsibilities as needed
- handle 'To Go' and associate food orders
- Perform inventory activities as scheduled
- Understand and execute procedures for verifying guest's ability to legally purchase and consume alcohol and know how to prevent a guest from over indulging
- Perform all other duties as assigned
