Job Requirements

must be at least 21 years of age
ability to wipe down tables including bases and pick up debris from floor
transports plates, glasses and trays multiple times per shift
basic reading, writing and verbal communication skills
mobility and full range of movement throughout shift
able to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly
able to respond quickly in emergencies
ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to 6 hours
good sense of balance
able to bend, kneel and react swiftly to surroundings

basic math skills to handle payments and change

Job Duties

mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water and juices to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in proper glassware as specified by Applebee's
serves and pours wine, bottled beer and draft beer according to proportions and proper glassware
follows all PLCB laws and Applebee's Responsible Service of Alcohol system to ensure guests are not over served
interacts verbally with all bar and dining guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
completes opening and closing side duties and checklists as assigned
serves food and drinks to bar and dining room guests as needed
slices fruit and vegetable garnishes at a prescribed par level each day
