Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • previous bartending experience in a high volume, sophisticated restaurant or bar preferred
  • read, write, speak and understand English fluently
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • available to work required schedule including weekends, late nights, early mornings, holidays, and overtime
  • physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
  • able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • able to lift trays with food up to 35 lbs above shoulder level
  • able to pull or push 100 lbs
  • able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, stoop and twist while carrying stock
  • able to stand and walk for up to 6 hours
  • able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights
  • able to work fast-paced, crowded, noisy environment
  • maintain a neat, professional, well-groomed appearance
  • 2 years previous bartending experience at upscale or high volume resort casino beverage operation preferred
  • proficient in making all manner of drinks including classics and contemporary
  • valid food handler's card

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • previous bartending experience in high volume, sophisticated bar or restaurant is preferred
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • physical mobility with ability to lift 50 lbs and push or pull 100 lbs
  • experience in making classic and contemporary drinks as well as knowledge of wine, ports, cordials and other spirits
  • valid food handler's card
  • 2 years bartending experience at upscale or high volume resort casino beverage operation preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests seated in assigned station within 3 minutes
  • maintain accurate knowledge of drink menus including preparation and presentation
  • enter food and beverage orders into POS system accurately
  • deliver prepared beverages within 3 minutes of completion
  • follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • present checks and handle payments correctly
  • assist and oversee bar backs in cleaning and restocking
  • operate cash register and maintain financial control integrity
  • maintain cleanliness in designated areas as per health and safety standards
  • deep clean restaurant and bar equipment as scheduled
  • operate and maintain bar equipment safely
  • complete assigned side work; provide personalized service using guests' names and preferences
  • promote casino events and give directions to guests
  • prepare bar set-ups as per manager’s instructions
  • maintain cleanliness of beverage storeroom and related areas
  • adhere to bartending and cashiering standards
  • observe fire and safety rules
  • report theft, suspicious activity, or policy violations
  • transport bar items safely
  • assist with beverage inventories
  • cut fruit garnishes and perform other setup duties
  • follow correct pour procedures and serve responsibly
  • escalate problem guests or issues to supervisors
  • adapt to flexible work schedules and assist other beverage outlets as needed
