Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or related customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service laws and procedures
- Ability to read and follow written recipes and procedures
- Good interpersonal skills and professional appearance
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and speak English
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and menu items
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests, present menus, take orders, serve food and beverages, clear dishes, clean bar, collect payments for all items served
- Safely facilitate the sale of alcohol to guests in accordance with legal standards by checking identification and preventing over-serving
- Stock service area with proper supplies per standards
- Clean equipment and maintain sanitary work environment
- Operate bar equipment and report malfunctions
- Report unsafe conditions and suggest solutions
- Prepare drinks properly using recipes according to standard specifications
