Job Requirements

  • Ability to take written and verbal direction in English
  • Ability to speak English clearly
  • Ability to mix a wide variety of drinks
  • Ability to operate machines and equipment such as cash register, dishwashers, speed batch ovens, and microwave
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to open and close bar and maintain supplies
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications
  • Ability to distinguish different denominations of currency and make change
  • Ability to prepare food
  • Ability to communicate effectively and handle difficult situations professionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in bartending or customer service preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Knowledge of drink mixing techniques
  • Ability to operate bar-related machinery and equipment
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Duties

  • Open and close the hotel bar following company policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation and bar areas
  • Serve and assist guests with high standards of integrity and hospitality
  • Mix a wide variety of drinks accurately
  • Operate bar equipment including cash registers and kitchen appliances
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Provide knowledgeable information about the hotel and local events
