Job Requirements

  • One year of prior bartending experience preferred
  • prior guest relations training
  • proper food safety training and certification as described by law
  • experience working with POS (Toast, Micros, Aloha, etc.) and reservation software (Toast)
  • strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • knowledge of proper food handling
  • excellent written/verbal communications skills
  • positive upbeat attitude/personality
  • punctuality and reliable attendance
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy and cooperativeness
  • ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
  • willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
  • assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • plan and present bar menu
  • check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
