Job Requirements

  • At least two years of experience at a fast paced dining establishment is preferred
  • working knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and tending bar, with the ability to learn and follow recipes
  • a warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food, wine, spirits and customer service
  • must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience
  • excellent people skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • the ability to multi-task and work well in a high volume environment
  • possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
  • fluent in English and proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • must have valid food handler card

Job Duties

  • Greet guests, take beverage orders from the servers or directly from guests
  • mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered
  • check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
  • handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures
  • collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts
  • ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory
  • serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate
  • demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions
