Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years bartending experience
  • Strong mixology knowledge

  • Alcohol service certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years bartending experience in a hospitality, fine dining, or private club setting
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, beer, and wine
  • Experience with ordering, inventory management, POS systems, and vendor relations
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect warmly with members and guests
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence, discretion, and professionalism in member-service environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger dining and hospitality team
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as required
  • TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification preferred
  • Knowledge of NYC State Liquor Authority (SLA) regulations or willingness to train

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Personalize service for members and guests, fostering warmth and cordiality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, tools, and glassware
  • Manage bar inventory including ordering, receiving, stocking, and tracking spirits, mixers, and supplies
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and report to the Executive Chef
  • Monitor usage and control costs while ensuring adequate stock levels
  • Operate POS systems such as Square and Jonus Club
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to align the beverage program with dining menus and member preferences
  • Coordinate with dining room staff and kitchen team to provide seamless service during meal service and events
  • Participate in pre-service meetings and contribute to a culture of collaboration and mutual support
  • Provide a welcoming and professional presence during Club events, receptions, and private functions
  • Anticipate member and guest needs, offering recommendations and adapting service as required
  • Support special events by designing unique cocktails or beverage pairings
  • Assist colleagues in other areas of the Club as needed including setup, cleanup, or light service tasks
  • Adapt to schedule changes and shifting priorities with flexibility and a team-oriented spirit
  • Uphold all Club policies, service standards, and health and safety protocols
