Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • minimum one year of bar experience
  • knowledge of spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation
  • ability to operate point of sale systems
  • basic mathematical skills for handling cash transactions
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • ability to create craft artisan cocktails and specialty drinks
  • hotel experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Make cocktails and provide exceptional guest experiences
  • maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily function projections
  • maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure product quality
  • greet guests courteously and promote and document orders for drinks
  • mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practice prudent portion control
  • adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
  • input orders into point of sale system and create checks for guests to maintain beverage service accountability
  • handle cash transactions including making change, verifying charges, recording charges, and ensuring proper execution of vouchers
  • lock and store beverage, food, and equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure the bank
  • comply with attendance rules and maintain regular availability
  • perform other job related duties as assigned
