Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED preferred
- 21+ years old
- Prior bar service experience
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to build relationships

- Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- Ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's recipes
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- Greets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and specials
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work as required
- Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- Presents guest checks to bar patrons and handles payments accurately
- Processes employee and manager food orders
- Relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system promptly
- Manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- Participates in the clearing and resetting of the bar area
- Occasionally serves guests in a Carside To-Go service
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- Drives sales with suggestive selling techniques and creates a legendary customer experience
- Participates in Local Store Marketing to drive bar traffic and overall restaurant sales
- Removes trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
