Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
  • Thorough knowledge of menu items and service procedures
  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Problem solving abilities, self-motivated and organized
  • Ability to stand or walk for 100% of the time during shifts
  • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to maneuver between simultaneous functions
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 30 lbs occasionally
  • Manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment
  • Continuous talking and hearing to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing ability, and visual acuity

Job Qualifications

  • Intermediate knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
  • Experience in bartending or a related beverage service role
  • Strong communication skills to describe menu items and interact with guests
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and handle high-pressure situations
  • Passion for continuous learning and development in food and beverage
  • Basic cash handling and POS system proficiency
  • Knowledge of Greek, Lebanese, and Turkish wines is advantageous

Job Duties

  • Exceed guests' expectations by providing an authentic, friendly, enthusiastic, professional culinary and beverage experience paired with impeccable service and a genuine sense of hospitality
  • Maintain and oversee all aspects of the bar including a cash drawer/POS system, customer consumption and support of your front of house and back of house teammates
  • Precisely prepare and execute an exciting menu of handmade cocktails
  • Demonstrate a passion for continuous learning and discovery by embracing an active and innovative approach to expanding knowledge of food and beverage
  • Articulate appealing descriptions of every item offered including explanations of ingredient preparation, cooking methods, and suggestive beverage pairings
  • Participate in research and development of cocktail creations with the team
  • Maintain expected steps of service during high volume peak hours
  • Demonstrate at least an intermediate understanding of beer, wine, and spirits
  • Knowledge of Greek, Lebanese, and Turkish wines is a plus
