Job Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- prior bar service experience
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification preferred
- reading, writing and basic math skills required
- reliable transportation required
- high school degree or GED preferred
- ability to build relationships
- ability to work as part of a team
- ability to follow instructions and guidance
- professional communication and behavior
- physical ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- able to work in fast-paced and loud environments
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- 21+ years old
- prior bar service experience
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus
- reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills
- bi-lingual experience a plus

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's standards
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and specials
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- presents guest checks to bar patrons, makes correct change and/or completes credit transactions
- processes employee and manager food orders
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as company and brand policies
- participates in clearing and resetting the bar
- may occasionally serve guests in a Carside To-Go service
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- uses suggestive selling techniques to drive sales and create a legendary customer experience
- participates in local store marketing to drive bar traffic and overall restaurant sales
- removes trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
