Job Requirements

- Prior bar service experience
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus

Job Duties
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to brand standards
- Interact verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and drinks
- Complete assigned opening and closing side work as directed
- Slice fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- Present guest checks to bar patrons and handle cash or credit transactions accurately
- Process employee and manager food orders
- Relay food orders to the kitchen via the point-of-sale system in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- Participate in clearing and resetting the bar
- Occasionally serve guests in a Carside To-Go service
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Explain and demonstrate usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- Drive sales with suggestive selling techniques and develop customer and community relationships
- Participate in local store marketing to drive bar and restaurant traffic
- Remove trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
