Job Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Completion of orientation and safety training
- Additional safety trainings as assigned
- Black nonslip shoes
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds
- Capability to perform detailed tasks requiring vision and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in environments with tobacco smoke and varying temperature
- Ability to follow all health and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bartending certificate from college or technical school preferred
- Minimum 2 years of high-volume bartending experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience with POS system
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate effectively
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions
- Ability to apply common sense to solve problems
- Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission
- RBS certification as trained at Rolling Hills Casino
- Food handler's card provided by Rolling Hills Casino
- Title 31 certification as trained by Rolling Hills Casino
- Valid state-issued driver's license.
Job Duties
- Provides constant, attentive, and friendly service to guests
- Obtains orders from patrons and servers
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, flavored liquor, soda, juices, sparkling and non-sparkling water, sugar, bitters and garnishes to prepare cocktails and other types of drinks
- Serves alcohol and non-alcohol beverages, wine, and draft or bottled beer
- Monitors consumption of alcohol served to patrons
- Operates balances and reconciles cash and credit card transactions and follows proper procedures for closing and balancing till
- Stocks, cleans, and prepares fruits and vegetables for garnishing cocktails
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Reports low inventory supplies to supervisor
- Upholds standards set by ABC and follows RBS guidelines
- Relays complaints or positive remarks to management
- Follows policies and procedures set forth by Rolling Hills Casino
- Responsible for proper storage and rotation of liquor and bar products.
