Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar full service restaurant
  • Wine knowledge
  • Follow all safety, health, and sanitation regulations and guidelines
  • Standing / walking up to 8 hours continuously
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs alone, and up to 80 lbs as a team

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide legendary service to bar guests according to standard operating procedures
  • Have adequate menu knowledge and make guest recommendations
  • Prep, stock, clean, and maintain bar to a high level of organization and cleanliness
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers according to established recipes and standards
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, maintain accurate records of beverage usage and sales
  • Check identification to verify that guests are of legal drinking age
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Enhance guest experience to encourage repeat visits
  • Collaborate with other bar and restaurant staff to maintain a smooth and efficient operation
  • Answer phones
  • Take to-go orders in accordance with company standards
  • Take bar tables
  • Create drink recipes
