Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of closely related bartending experience
- meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
- knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation
- strong hospitality skills
- ability to secure Serve Safe certification
- ability to work standing for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to use hands and fingers for pouring, grabbing, muddling, shaking
- good hearing and clear vision
- ability to work up to 5-6 hours in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of closely related bartending experience
- work experience in high volume dining restaurant environment preferred
- knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation
- strong hospitality skills with the ability to interact with members, guests and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- ability to secure Serve Safe certification
- RBS certification is a plus
- must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
Job Duties
- Provide friendly and efficient service to members and guests at the bar
- prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including craft cocktails in accordance with established recipes and standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including bar tops, glassware, and equipment
- follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deal appropriately with intoxicated guests
- ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly
- monitor and manage inventory levels including ordering and stocking supplies as needed
- collaborate with other bar staff and kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service
- uphold the club's standards of professionalism, hospitality, and member satisfaction
