Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year previous bartending experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or entertainment management setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 lbs with or without accommodation
- Must comply with all federal, state, and local laws related to alcohol service
- Must maintain cleanliness and safety standards at all times
Job Qualifications
- 1-year previous bartending experience in restaurant, hospitality, entertainment management in bar service required
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proactive in problem solving
- Flexible with varying schedules to reflect the business needs
- Must have knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull stock, chairs, tables up to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Duties
- Create, mix and serve beverages to our clients, presenting a friendly, pleasant and courteous demeanor at all times
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when handling food and beverages
- Process cash and credit card payments
- Maintain and replace bar stock as needed
- Ensure patrons are of legal drinking age before serving alcohol
- Monitor guest's alcohol intake and prohibit alcohol service to intoxicated guests
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area, glasses and utensils
- Comply with federal, state, local, and all legislative and licensing requirements
