Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of beverage preparation, recipes and mixology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws
- Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Job Duties
- Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations and taking orders
- Informing customers about new beverages and specials
- Being knowledgeable of all menu items, their contents and preparation methods to respond accurately to customer questions, make menu recommendations and upsell where appropriate
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers
- Checking identification to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol
- Providing responsible service of alcoholic beverages complying with all local, state and federal liquor laws and food safety regulations
- Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
- Preparing and serving menu items according to Fogo de Chao recipes and guidelines using proper equipment and ingredients
- Handling multiple tables and tasks efficiently and cleaning and clearing tables
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register
- Educating self and assisting co-workers in understanding basic bar terminology, such as wine and liquor varieties and types of mixed drinks
- Performing all reasonable tasks assigned by management
