Job Requirements

  • Must have open availability including evenings and weekends
  • Experience in food service
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food service work
  • Experience in working with seniors preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred
  • Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers
  • Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties

  • Always exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
  • Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere
  • Take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously
  • Answer pertinent questions about menu and drink items
  • Clear all tableware from tables and bar after service
  • Clean all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays, and distribute
  • Stock, restock and rotate supplies
  • Prepare garnishes for bar use
  • Prepare snack trays
  • Maintain all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges
  • Assist supervisor with inventory of supplies
