Job Qualifications
- Experience in food service work
- Experience in working with seniors preferred
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively
- Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred
- Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers
- Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Always exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
- Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere
- Take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously
- Answer pertinent questions about menu and drink items
- Clear all tableware from tables and bar after service
- Clean all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays, and distribute
- Stock, restock and rotate supplies
- Prepare garnishes for bar use
- Prepare snack trays
- Maintain all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges
- Assist supervisor with inventory of supplies
