Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • at least one year of bar experience
  • knowledge of spirits and wine
  • ability to create craft artisan cocktails and specialty drinks
  • hotel experience preferred
  • ability to operate a cash register and point of sale system
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to communicate in basic English
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Make cocktails and provide exceptional guest experiences
  • maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking supplies
  • maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit, vegetables, juices and perishables to ensure quality
  • greet guests courteously, promote menu items and prepare drinks using standardized recipes
  • abide by all state, federal and corporate regulations on alcohol service
  • input orders into POS and manage guest checks accurately
  • handle cash transactions, verify charges and maintain financial accountability
  • secure beverage and food items and cash drops
  • comply with attendance rules and maintain availability
  • perform other related duties as assigned
