Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
  • ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights, holidays and weekends
  • ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time
  • must be able to lift up to 15 lbs regularly
  • ability to perform functions requiring organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and occasional stocking up to 50 lbs
  • ability to communicate quickly and accurately
  • ability to understand, follow and maintain safety standards at all times
  • willingness to work in environments with bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds
  • manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, holidays and weekends
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines
  • ability to interact positively with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • Greet guest and takes orders within Andretti guidelines, always exceeding guests expectations
  • prepare standard and specialty mixed drinks
  • pour wine and beer quickly, accurately, and without waste
  • deliver food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards
  • collect payment for all items purchased and consumed and operate the Point-of-Sale system with ease
  • count cash drawer at the beginning of the shift for accuracy and ensure adequate amount of change is present
  • maintain an organized work area and proactively cleans and resets tables
  • order and maintain liquor and bar supplies, display bottles in an aesthetically pleasing manner
  • properly dispose of broken glassware
  • follow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local health regulations
  • sufficiently handle and accurately count money
  • check identification of any guest consuming alcohol
  • follow all state and company guidelines regarding beverage services
  • observe, instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence
  • assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences
  • communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and fellow co-workers
  • perform opening, running and closing department duties as assigned
