- experience in a hotel or related field
- knowledge of state liquor laws
- ability to maintain beverage cost controls
- capability to handle intoxicated guests according to procedures
- proficiency in bar setup and inventory management
- skills in maintaining cleanliness of bar area

- experience in fine dining helpful
Job Duties
- Follow all state liquor laws
- assist in maintaining beverage costs
- follow prescribed procedures in servicing liquor with care to avoid problems with intoxicated guests and when necessary report to management
- complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels as needed using bottle for bottle method
- stock and clean glassware
- check soda tanks to ensure that they are full and secured properly to the bar
- prepare all garnishes
